Cooling and heating that is environmentally, socially and economically sustainable, and accessible to all.
Clean cooling is measured where four commitments converge: the Paris Agreement, the Kigali Amendment, the Montreal Protocol and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The concept was developed by Professor Toby Peters; ATMOsphere has built the measurement framework around it since 2020.
The fastest route there runs through natural refrigerants: CO₂ (R-744), ammonia (R-717), propane (R-290), water (R-718) and air (R-729).
