## What is clean cooling?
Cooling and heating that is environmentally, socially and economically sustainable — and accessible to all. Clean cooling is measured where four commitments converge: the Paris Agreement, the Kigali Amendment, the Montreal Protocol and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The concept was developed by Professor Toby Peters; ATMOsphere has built the measurement framework around it since 2020. Three dimensions: environmental (ultra-low GWP, no TFA, measured against phase-down deadlines), social (cooling people can afford), economic (systems that pay back).
